Dunelm Mill Keeps Stores On Line With Vista

July 2nd 2008, Cardiff – Dunelm Mill, a UK home furnishings retailer, is using support services from EPOS maintenance services company, Vista Retail Support in order to ensure that its 90 stores are always able to process customer transactions...

According to Dave Wilson, Dunelm Head of IT, “Service Level Agreements are running at between 85 and 90%, a three-fold improvement and calls to the call centre have gone right down, a remarkable improvement. Priority One issues are resolved quickly by Vista and it is very rare for a till to be down.”

He continued, “This level of service is critical, but particularly during our peak trading and end of season sale periods.”

Wilson adds, “We wanted a supplier that we knew could cope as we grew. We are currently at 90 stores but have ambitions to reach 150. We engaged with Vista Retail Support for support and maintenance, a company I knew and trusted.”

Brian Norman, managing director of Vista Retail Support, said, “As a forward-looking retailer, Dunelm recognises just how critical it is to keep tills working. We believe that we are able to provide industry-leading availability levels.”

Vista demonstrated the advantages of its services through a conference room pilot and extensive references.

Vista Support is also responsible for all new store installations for this rapidly-growing retailer.

So successful was the switch-over to Vista, that Dunelm was able to cease the contract with the incumbent maintenance provider within a month.
